About the Event

A morning workshop in which you will create your own printed fabric items, such as tea towels or bags, to give as gifts or to keep. Alternatively print fabric to make up into objects, use for applique, use for furoshiki wrapping cloths, for quilting projects, to turn it into a hanging art piece, create fabric journal covers or embellish bags.

With a range of stencils and lino blocks to choose from you will be able to create your own personalised items.  Alternatively you can bring along stencils or linos you’ve created before, and/or combine these with the others that are available to use.

Slow down and enjoy creating items yourself that are printed and decorated by hand! These items are sure to be treasured far more than a mass-produced ones and you’ll have the pleasure of knowing that you created them yourself.

Price includes:

Course notes and all materials and tools including two tea towels to personalise as you wish, assorted fabric ‘scraps’ to practice on, paints and tools, stencils and linos. More items can be purchased for personalisation if required on the day or bring along your own fabrics to work on.

Wear old clothes and covered shoes.
