Amanda Donohue is a printmaker and textile artist who creates etchings and linocuts, but also dry points, silk screen prints and collagraphs. A life-time love of ink, paper and textiles plus an interest in the ‘genderisation’ of embroidery are strong influences and are incorporated into her prints and her practice through eco dyeing, hand stitching, shibori, felting indigo dyeing and printing fabric.

Amanda teaches textile and printmaking workshops on a regular basis across NSW and work part time for a regional development art organisation (Orana Arts). As an artist with over twenty years experience she instils her passions into her art and classes in etching, linocut, drypoint, felting, shibori, stitching and fabric printing.
