East of the Lake is a group exhibition of artists from the eastern side of Lake Macquarie, brought together through special invitation by Lake Macquarie City Council following their involvement in the Council’s Open Studios program. The exhibition title speaks directly to place, grounding the works in the communities and landscapes that lie east of the lake and inform each artist’s practice.

About the Exhibition

Ceramic artists Abi Sparks, Ameeta Patel and Sharon Taylor present works that balance function and experimentation.
