A hand made gift is a wonderful alternative to a mass produced ones and will be are far more appreciated for the time and thought you have put into it! With a range of coloured papers and inks to chose from you can create a print that is absolutely yours. You will learn about reversing of images and positive /negative space, cutting techniques and how to ink up your block You will then print your image using a barren and frame it ready to gift or hang at home.

What to bring: Ideas for a 10 x 10 cm square image, for example a simple black and white drawing.

It’ll be great fun and at the end you’ll have a unique framed print to keep or give away – one less item to buy on your list. You’ll just need to wrap it – maybe using the wrapping paper you make at the Arty Cards and Wrapping Papers for Christmas workshop in a few weeks time! You’ll also have your own unique lino block that you can re-use to print your own cards or other items.
