Fun with lino
A short workshop where you will create your own lino prints. Cut your lino block and then print ready for framing. Beginners welcome. All materials provided including morning tea.

About the Event
A morning workshop in which you will create your own lino prints for the wall, to create greetings cards or give as gifts.
You will cut your own lino learning about about reversing of images and positive/negative space, cutting techniques, and how to ink up your block. We will print images using a barren and the press, on a variety of papers to create a print that is absolutely yours ready to frame and gift or hang at home.

All materials and tools are provided including inks, quality printmaking paper a lino block.
What to bring: Ideas for a 10 x 10 cm square image, for example a simple black and white drawing.
It’ll be great fun and at the end you’ll have a unique print to keep or give away. You’ll also have your own unique lino block that you can re-use to print your own cards or other items.
