About the Event
Learn how to design, cut and print your own Lino block and make beautiful artworks.
Linocut printing is a technique where a negative image is cut into the lino block. Learn about positive and negative cutting, ink up the lino block and print by hand onto a range of different papers.
Everything is provided on the day, and you will take home your lino & prints.
Registration is via Easel Art Space.
Suitable for beginners and those who have done a beginners class and wish to experiment with more complex block or ideas.
Price includes:
4 hour face to face workshop (plus lunch break)
All inks and tools
Quality printmaking paper
Lino square (15cm square)
Tea/coffee and biscuits.
About your tutor:
Amanda Donohue studied printmaking at Sydney College of the Arts graduating with a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours). She has been a printmaker for over twenty years and a member of the Newcastle Printmakers Workshop for ten years.
