About the Event

In this short lino printing workshop you will create a simple one colour lino print. You will be guided to design, carve and print your own lino block ready for framing.

This course is perfect for beginners.  Aimed at those 18 years and above.

A great introduction to printmaking, it is a technique which can be practiced in the home or studio with minimal cost and amazing results.

Participants will learn how to prepare and transfer images to the lino using their own designs or design templates provided by the tutor; how to cut and carve a lino block using a variety of mark making techniques; ink up and print the block using water based inks. Hand printing methods will be covered so the process can be replicated easily at home with minimal equipment.

Bookings essential as places are limited. Minimum of 3 participants for the workshop to proceed.

Price is $90 per person and includes All materials including printing paper, inks, the use of lino tools and printing equipment.
