About the Event
Have you ever wanted to learn the ancient craft of wet felting wool? This wonderful and versatile craft can be used to create both beautiful and functional objects.
In this workshop, you'll learn new skills and take away your own felt bowl. You’ll learn about templates, laying out the wool tops, felting and shaping. We’ll also talk about how you can further embellish your bowl.
All materials and equipment will be provided. $10 Material fee payable on the day.
Price $58 per person plus materials fee, includes:
2.55 hour face to face class at Brough House, Maitland , all materials and tools

All classes will be run in accordance with NSW guidelines in place at the time.
About your tutor:
Amanda Donohue studied printmaking at Sydney College of the Arts graduating with a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours). She also has a Graduate Certificate in Cross Disciplinary Art & Design from the College of Fine Arts (UNSW) where she studied textiles. Amanda has been a practicing artist for over twenty years, has been teaching for about 10 years in the Hunter area and exhibits regularly. See more about Amanda at www.amandadonohue.org
