This is an original image and zinc plate etching, created and printed by Amanda using traditional printmaking techniques. It is based on the needlecase I made at school - many years ago. The title is based on Freuds theory that excessive needlework would induce hysteria in young women!
The image measure 33 x 50 cm, the paper size is 56 x 68 cm and it is printed on 250gsm BFK Rives paper.
